The Certification Journey
A Microsoft Azure solutions architect needs to gain subject matter expertise in designing cloud and hybrid solutions that run on Azure, including Compute, Network, Storage, Monitoring, and Security.
Their responsibilities included advising stakeholders and translating business requirements into secure, scalable, and reliable designs for Azure solutions that align with the Azure Well-Architected Framework and Cloud Adoption Framework for Azure. They partner with various job roles, including Developers, Administrators, Security engineers, and Data engineers, to implement solutions on Azure.
As candidates for this certification, they demonstrated advanced experience and knowledge of IT operations, including networking, virtualisation, identity, security, business continuity, disaster recovery, data platforms, and governance. They manage how decisions in each area affect an overall solution. In addition, they have experience with Azure administration, Azure development, and DevOps processes.
